Fun Day!

Mary took part in a fun day at a local riding school today. She was doing really well, then sadly just before lunch, Lily went lame. She’d picked up a stone from somewhere and even after it was removed, she was very tender on her left foreleg. Luckily there was a blacksmith attending to some of the riding school horses, so he had a look at it, cleaned it up a bit and agreed that it was probably just bruised.

Rachel took Lilly home and I left to get lunch before work, but Mary stayed to continue her fun day on another pony. I’ve yet to hear how that went, but she didn’t seem to care that we were leaving, so I’m sure she was fine without us!
