Gecko

Geckos are familiar, welcome visitors to those of us living on the Mediterranean..... they are nocturnal creatures.....
non harmful...and have ‘sticky feet’....
which lets them climb, and hang on to, smooth surfaces such as ceilings and rafters, .....
they eat insects, including mosquitoes !

This little chap, however, is purely ornamental!
He was made, painted and glazed by a
“ crafty” friend.....who then gave him to
me.....as a very welcome Birthday gift.
I love personal gifts.... especially if made by an artist friend!
