Cygnets.

We had reason to be up in Carlisle near the garden centre.  This particular centre is sufficiently short sighted that it doesn't allow photographs.  Well it doesn't if you are using a DSLR mobile phones seem exempt.  By contrast one of our local garden centres positively encourages photography and posting on social media tagged Larch Cottage Nurseries.  Result lots of free advertising.

Anyway not having a blip we stopped in the bottom car park and strolled round the pond taking shots.  They don't seem to mind/see you down there.  The resident Swans have had a good clutch of Cygnets - 7.  Yes there are 7 if you look carefully.  The only concerning thing was that there was no sign of the Cob.  I found this unusual.
