Wild goose chase

This is my blip for today because when I looked at the photos I'd taken, the title for this immediately came into my head!

The new train timetable was introduced while I was in the US, but even more than a week later there are still problems. Trains are cancelled so missing one means a longer wait. I'd have made it to my train this evening if it hadn't been for too many people standing on the platform waiting for the next train - blocking my way to the doors. So I got the train to Denmark Hill instead, went to Ruskin Park, found some goslings and then got the bus home.

I was able to get closer up shots of the geese, and not from behind but they weren't very sharp. And I liked this one!
