in Glengarriff Woods
We realised we hadnt been there all year and that we should go if we wanted to see the woods in its autumn finery. Before the rising winds blow it all away.
It was a changeable day, squally and dramatic. I had all kinds of ideas for a blip but found handling an unhappy puppy (she prefers to stay in by the fire than get her feet wet in the woods), an impatient husband, and the camera and tripod in the rain was just too tricky.
I shall have to go back there by myself, but was pleased of the walk anyway, and it all looked gorgeous during the odd moments when the sun shone.
