Peony

I have been willing the peonies in pots to come into bloom and I noticed this one had this morning.  So lovely.

A quiet day today after the hectic week or so.  Misty and grey early on has given way to lovely sunshine - long may it continue.

A dear friend has to have a kidney removed today.  She is, naturally, very concerned as it has all happened rather quickly.  My thoughts with J today.  Hope it all goes well.
