I'm staying an extra day in Northwest Arkansas to finish watching the Lord of the Rings Trilogy with my friends and hosts, the Agee's. I loved the books so was reluctant to watch the films but they assured me I would not be disappointed and offered to watch the entire ten hours with me. It has been a bit surreal to be transported from Northwest Arkansas to Middle Earth and back. My thoughts swirl about the meaning of it all...

I find myself inspired by the epic scope and attention to detail the production achieved, that alone is worth watching again and again.
