Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary
This week's flower photography project, a flower arrangement in a vase.
I love this blend of colours: pink almost turning to magenta, purple and blue. So very Spring. And the florist had pink sweet peas and gypsophylia, both of which I reckon must have been forced.
I added some California Lilac, two foxgloves and some chive flowers from the garden although they seem to have got lost in the mist of pink.
I added the seashells because the arrangement made me think of the nursery rhyme: Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary.
I have jettisoned my surgical stockings. It's six weeks ago today that I had my operation.
