Mist Again

This morning we were expecting delivery of my new Tamron TC- X20 2.0X Teleconverter for my Tamron 150-600 telephoto lens (G2), and we were both anxious for the delivery from the posty (postman Patricia – yes that is her name).
 
When we looked out of the bedroom window what did we see – yes, you’ve got it, what far away thing am I going to shoot at half the distance?
 
As it turned out – NOTHING! – the Teleconverter would not work on auto-focus. So it’s gone back to Amazon.  Further investigation (via Wex) revealed that it will only work on the latest cameras anyway – not made widely knowledgeable!!  I don’t think I will be upgrading to the Canon 7D mkII just yet for the sake of a Teleconverter.
