Down in the meadow…

Except this isn’t a meadow, it’s my back lawn! With all the rain we’ve had lately, I’ve not been able to get out in the garden, and the grass has put on a sudden growth spurt!

So with heavy thundery showers forecast for the afternoon, I made the most of a sunny but humid morning, and cut all the lawns, finishing just before the rain and thunder arrived. Despite having taken dozens of photos of pretty flowers and busy bees this morning, I’ve plumped for a picture of the “meadow”. I liked the way the early morning sunlight backlit the grass, and lit up the spider’s tightrope…
