Birthday Spoonies

Today is both Mrs ATB's and mine own birthday and we received a special treat when some pink spoonbills showed up at the marsh pond this morning.

At one point two got into quite a dust up with each other, while the third completely ignored the altercation and continued on quietly about his own business.
A wise choice. 

Unfortunately, the spoonies were at the far back edge of the pond and quite a ways off so a kind of heavy crop was required.

Still fun to see though. :-)
