Chestnuts

We seem to have been treated to howling gales, rain, hail and sunshine over the past few days!
Out walking today I saw that many chestnuts had fallen and provided a rich carpet of golden leaves with brown shiny chestnuts hidden inside the prickly cases.
Another autumn blip :)
