Visit The Laskett Gardens

Day off from Hay Festival and we visit the largest private garden to be created in England since 1945.

The Laskett Gardens near Hereford are the creation of Sir Roy Strong , former director of the V&A museum in London and his late wife, Julia Trevelyan Oman.

Sir Roy , now in his 83 year, is happy to chat to visitors and he posed for a photo with my nice Angela and her son Ferris.
