A first!

I finally had an opportunity this afternoon to try out my new Sony RX10M4 on the very reliable Gang Gangs. I took this image from upstairs, through the window and from about 20 metres away. It was a dull afternoon and quite late when they arrived so I have to say I’m very happy with the result. I’m hoping tomorrow (Saturday), I will have some time to stake out an area a little closer to the bird bowls and see what that will bring. I have sent off to Amazon for the Manual in hard copy. I really want to realise the potential of this great little camera and feel that having the Manual I can have at my side when I’m learning the ins and outs of the camera will be a great help. I realise that all of this information is available online, but I guess I’m just a bit old fashioned when it comes to learning. I like this image in the LARGE version. I think it’s needs the dark contrast to really make it pop!!

I’ll be practising Golf most of this weekend, for me that means watching the US Women’s Golf Open :).
