As bold as brass

We only had seven in the Bridge cafe this morning so we shut up shop a bit early.  It seems that Centrepoint, the other homeless charity in the town, has a better offering in that there are showers and more than toast for breakfast on offer. The early finish allowed me time to get on with digging more of the garden, clearing out two old rhubarb plants to make room for some vegetables.  I had this bold blackbird for company most of the time.  On the way back from a walk, I bought a few more bedding plants to fill in spaces.
