Cooling off

Another very muggy start to the day but with some sunshine as well as mist over the hills. I had to go to East Linton for some butcher meat this morning so took Molly for a walk around the field behind Preston Mill. The extra is a view from the track looking towards East Linton and a misty Traprain. The main blip is Molly cooling off in the river Tyne.
I managed to get most of the grass cut this afternoon before the first heavy rain shower. It stopped for about 10 minutes and so I finished cutting the grass but then had to take shelter in the summerhouse with Molly as the heavens opened and we had a real downpour with thunder and lightening. Still seems quite muggy out so wouldn't be surprised if we had another thunderstorm. The garden needed the rain.
