Tiny grapes on the vine in our garden. The easy way to catch up on backblips is to just not blip for a couple of days.

Yesterday evening, yet another choir committee meeting to cover the thorny question of next year's programme. It was very productive in that we thrashed out the budget for the ambitious project and decided we still couldn't afford it unless some generous benefactor gave us 15,000 euros (unlikely). But William had come up with a Plan B which will hopefully work and enable us to stash away more money (we didn't do badly this year, we had 4,000 euros in the bank at the beginning of the season and 11,000 now). So it's postponed for a further year.

On the way there, I managed to get a puncture. How, I don't know, but when I arrived I had one squishy tyre. Happily our president J-L turned out to be a dab hand with a wheel wrench, and he had the wheel changed inside ten minutes. Quite bizarre though -- after decades with zero punctures, we've had two within four months. And the tyre nearly new :( Obviously we slipped up last time by not buying a long wrench to keep in the boot, which would have guaranteed no punctures.

Today, lovely weather and a barbie in the garden. Bring on summer ...
