Winter is Coming

...and that isn't a Game of Thrones reference. Or maybe it is, but only in passing. It was a beautiful wintry day. Clear cold and bright. If Winter consisted more of thes and less of wet sludginess, I'd feel that much more positive about this part of the calendar.
