Wissembourg/France

Our annual company's outing took us to and around Wissembourg in France, very close the the German/French border in the south of the Palatinate.

The stream in the blip is the Lauter, but not the same Lauter as in Kaisers'lautern'.
We had heavy storms last night in the Palatinate and Wissembourg had them too, what you can tell looking at the colour of the Lauter and what we witnessed when we saw the fire department cleaning the city center of Wissembourg of water and mud.

All together a day with much better weather than predicted, no rain, not too warm; many stops to eat and drink and the chance to talk to people you only see twice a year.
