My boy

Picture is from yesterday, we had a good haul of pictures yesterday, and today failed to take any.  Love this picture.  

We binned the idea of going up to Dieppe today.  A bit of research showed that the beaches are all pebble, which would not have impressed a 3 year old who only wants to build sandcastles on the beach and wouldn't appreciate the long(ish) drive to find that not all beaches are up to his standard. 

Plan b was to find a swimming pool, we failed at that.  Or, we found plenty of swimming pools, but none that were open.  So we resorted to plan c, a walk in the local arboretum.  There was complete refusal to get out of the car for a stop at the boulangerie to get lunch and then utter refusal to get back in the car and go anywhere else once we were back at the Gite.  So an afternoon packing up for the trip home tomorrow.  The youngest fell asleep at 4.30 (in my arms), the eldest held out until 6.30 when he took himself up to bed after dinner.  I guess they were tired.
