Emma's show

It was very warm and bright when I headed down to the town centre today to have lunch with my forever friends...…. we had a good chat as usual, and some nice food.  Then headed home, and the heavens opened.  We haven't had rain for some weeks, and it is probably needed, but it was cats and dogs and elephants, and thunder and lightning too, for about fifteen minutes.  It cleared up quite quickly though and the sun came out again.  The forecast is for more of the same though.

We drove into the city tonight, with a temperature showing of 24C, to see Emma's college end of year show.  There were eight of us there to support her, and tomorrow her dad will be there, so she is getting plenty of support.  It was very good, very contemporary, some of the music was a bit odd I have to say, but all in all it was a very good show.  No photograps were allowed, so I have blipped the programme....

Home to a big glass of wine...…. it's Friday folks...…..
