Sunrise on Loch Lomond...

Despite going to bed at 1am, I woke at 6.30am this morning. Thankfully no fuzzy head from the free flowing wine last night - I felt so fresh that I decided to get up and try and capture the sun rising over the Loch.

So, there I was, down at the shore at 7.15am, camera at the ready......

Wow. 240 photos and 45 mins later I returned to the hotel room. What a beautiful sight - am so glad I pushed myself to get up and do it.

After breakfast (amazing), I hit a post- food slump, so while my friend went for a swim and sauna, I took another walk round the grounds of Cameron House. Yes, more photos were taken.

I managed a cheeky wee nap this afternoon - a necessity before working my way through all my photos in order to find a blip. It was really hard to pick one.

Anyway, here you have the sun rising over Loch Lomond, taken from the grounds of Cameron House, a truly amazing experience.
