A little something different

What a horrible day - I still haven’t processed it all, but will say that I had been walking around with lots of dark thoughts and feeling sorry for myself and then got a call this morning from my prior co-worker and walking partner who told me that she recently had brain tumors removed which had been caused by lung cancer that had metastasized. We were texting about “Killing Eve” last week and I had no clue!
I have decided to call her at least every other day and ask if I can visit. I won’t stay long but I want her to understand that I really will be there, perhaps far too often (but again - short periods of time :)
