Shags nesting

We’re staying at Anakiwa for the night, there is a big tree next to the Queen Charlotte track with a heap of shags nesting, I could have taken so many more photos but the toddler getting perilously close to the edge put me off staying too much longer! Today hasn’t been very good for photos, usually I prefer over cast weather but it seems darker than usual
