Another sunny day. Too much for yours truly who has to seek out some dappled shade. And a new book to make a start on: Barbarian Days, A Surfing Life by William Finnegan. As recommended by my old pal Johnny.
And many pages later, off (all of 100m) to see the Black Cats, a pretty decent rockabilly band, playing under the palm trees. Some pretty good driving reverb from the surf guitar too. I wonder if I’m too old to pick it up? Surfing, I mean. Is paddle boarding maybe easier?
