Some wee hills in Edinburgh.... mountains to us!

After a full Scottish breakfast, we walked up to the castle (phew!). We enjoyed a short tour and then had a wander at our own leisure. It was very busy but also very interesting. Mr C can spend hours in these sorts of places. However, our friend S really doesn’t and seems to get bored quite quickly (think he prefers holidays with golf balls or beaches :-D))) After a few hours we wandered down the Royal Mile, again I really wanted to discover the nooks and crannies of this city but S was striding off. So a stop for a drink then back for a rest before out for dinner ~ a lovely Indian, our favourite meal.

Another mainly cloudy day with the sun making the odd appearance here and there but also a little warmer.
