Friendly Faces

Our lovely vet, from the Canaries, and his equally lovely Portuguese wife. As well as looking after the animals around Mourão, they work for a project which is bringing back the black vultures and the Iberian lynx. They had just woken up and were still in pyjamas, but I loved their faces in the doorway and asked for the photo.

(Frustrating, though, back to pressing shutter with a toothpick, which means almost impossible to really prepare the photo, so too much sunlight, making their skin a weird colour, could put to mono, but I wanted the red of the door..., oh well.)

Wandering round town this morning (after being woken early by another hot air balloon), arranging things for our time away. Busy evening ahead, so blipping early.
