Dundee City of Discovery

Love the place! 

So happy to visit RRS Discovery, a ship with a stunning heritage and so much of a connection with Dundee. I love the fantastic views of the V&A which is nearing completion next door... To me the concrete of the V&A is not only an extraordinary piece of architecture, it is already iconic!

Today we were honoured to have a tour around the newly refurbished - and completely magnificent - DC Thomson HQ.. Pam's best friend Alex is Editor-in-chief of Beano ( amongst other publications) and it was very kind of her to show us around. 

The Courier Building, has been home to DC Thomson since 1905, its where the magic of not only Beano, but The Dandy, The Broons, Bash Street Kids and Desperate Dan happened.. And the magic continues to this day. 

Brilliant to see this beautiful, creative, dynamic and exciting building so cherished by its owners.
