The way up...

…to our chimney. Both chimneys (ours and our neighbours) are unsafe, and we’re waiting for the owners of the shop to give the go-ahead, so the builder can come and sort them out. Unfortunately, the chimney pots will be taken down.

Hardly stepped outside today! Spent most of it climbing up and down the ladder, painting walls and woodwork in the ‘Music room’, interspersed with a few breaks for meals and to wash up. Amazingly, after yesterday’s near-disaster, this morning all the yellow paint was still in its pot (which had been placed in a bucket overnight, as a precautionary measure!).

Meanwhile, MrM went off for the afternoon to put up some squirrel monitoring cameras in the woods around Rothbury.
