Fern Island

I saw this fern growing out of a gate post on my walk this morning, it amused me.

I met up with my friend Lynne, who is now a Maternity Matron at James Cook Hospital in Teeside. We started our nurse training at Carlisle in 1982 so we had a lot of catching up to do, it was fabulous.

Later in the afternoon I had my second clinic appointment. To cut a long story short my MRI is fine, but no medic is able to say exactly what caused the double vision, amongst other things, a virus, exhaustion or perhaps the statins were to blame, but no definitive reason. Onwards and upwards, hopefully it won't come back and I can move forward knowing I haven't many nasty tumours, infarctions or aneurysms in my head......
