Chillin'
Went out with Mr H on his ritual route of unlocking all the various doors of the abbey - although there was no chance of catching any shafts of light this time as it was still foggy, grey and overcast. At least I was able to give him his birthday present, a limited edition T-shirt from the Museum of English Rural Life!
I hopped on the Forth Belle for the trip back - which was to Port Edgar since there was a huge cruise liner moored in the Forth monopolising all landings at Hawes Pier. I was met by Old Bat and we went to the Port Edgar Yacht Club cafe for a restorative cuppa plus ice cream. We noted the impressive menu of comfort food for future reference, then I got the bus back to Embra.
Saw lots of interesting sights, but of course the puffins who were floating about doing nothing in particular off the west end of Inchcolm won the competition to be blipped.
