Perfect Match

There are those who subscribe to the philosophy that, if an object has not been used in the past two years, it should be disposed of.
I am of the opposite view, that, if one hangs on to something long enough, it will become useful.

So it proved, when a scarf that I bought more years ago than I care to remember and which lurked at the bottom of the drawer, exactly matched the dress I bought last year and wore to church this morning.

I rest my case.
