We succeeded at the third attempt. Z's brother Richard was 50 about a month ago, plans were laid for a weekend celebration on Cape Clear, which failed for various reasons and then a planned celebration in Castletownbere came to naught as Joy, his daughter, gave birth to Callie 5 or 6 weeks early! (Hope you're keeping up) So today we managed it, with a picnic on the Warren Strand in glorious sunshine, amid sand and holiday makers and melting cakes. A good time was had by all. Richard's 50th
