On arrival in the Lake District
I drove over to the Lake District today to make my annual pilgrimage to Lakeland Photographic Holidays. It had been quite misty when I first set off but the cloud gradually lifted as I travelled from east to west and by the time I reached Keswick it was a fairy typical Lake District scene with light clouds. This was taken from Castlerigg looking over to Lonscale Fell and Blencathra. If I'd waited for five minutes I would have has a fairly more contrasty image as the sun came through.
