Frankton Junction

It was a hot and sunny day so we went for a walk along the canal near where I live. This is Frankton Junction where the Montgomery Canal terminates and meets the Llangollen Canal. There were lots of insects and birds around and was a beautiful walk.

This evening I played for a wedding with my usual band. It was at a wedding venue in Shropshire and all of us (travelling separately) got lost as the satnavs had problems finding it.  We all got there in time and it was a great evening.

A couple of guests enjoyed our playing and asked if we would play for their wedding next May. It's at a French chateau so we're certainly hoping that it will come to pass!!
