Animated

Gave my annual presentation at a local women’s university. Traditionally, the students have been rather less animated than this lovely statue in the entrance to the campus. This year we had a bit of a break through... they all stayed awake and there were three questions in English... sigh...

Sadly, this is actually quite an achievement ... in previous years they have only spoken Japanese. As it’s an advanced English class that I visit, I find it all rather alarming...
