Date Night

Today was serene. Ethan and I went into the city to have dumplings from The Dumpling Man. We ate pork, chicken, and vegetable dumplings seared. They were delicious. It was such a cute spot, the environment was laid back and down-to-earth, with a young adults crowd. I really enjoyed it. Then we walked to David's Tea where I got Banana Nut Bread tea and Ethan got African Green Mint tea. Both were absolutely fantastic. We were very pleased. We did a little food shopping for my mom and Melanie at Whole Foods and then headed home.

The commute home was a bit of a drag as we had to wait 30 minutes for a crowded F train and then transfer to a local A train. Not the ideal conditions to end a perfect night. But you win some, you lose some and I know that if that's the biggest of my worries, I live a very privileged life, which I am grateful for.
