A ride on Old Ratty and a walk up into the low fells above Boot to have a look at Eel Tarn. Then a stroll along the Esk back to the station. Here we ate a large amount of ice cream, followed by train back to Ravenglass, the drive home through the south west Lakes, supper and the final episode of A Very English Scandal.

Bit hot for the dog, who's beginning to show his age a little as he approaches 10.
