Thalassa
14.0C bright and hazy. Light W/WNW breeze.
The above temperature was reported for Campbeltown airport.
Islay airport reports 17.6C which, I would say, is more like how it felt in town here.
When Apothecary7 and I were walking Fergus after 11pm last night we noticed Thalassa was in at the new quay. Fergus and I went along to the park past the ferry terminal to try to get a photo this morning (not long after 7am).
Fergus and I went for a walk after lunch. We went out to the old shipyard and wandered out the shore path almost to Macringan's Point.
Fergus did one of his Dr Jekyll to Mr Hyde transformations when we passed two rough collies. He hasn't done that for a long time. One the way back, and still on the shore path, we met a speeding Whippet (or something very similar) and he got on fine with it. Hasn't got over the male collie thing it seems.
When we were almost back to the shipyard the lifeboat came in through the channel.
