Berwick on Tweed

We went to Berwick today. It was misty again by the sea. We went to Spittal and had a lovely walk along the promenade then back along the beach. Chris found a couple of lovely fossils. We had a lovely lunch of bacon rolls and chips. We couldn't sit in the cafe but we had a table in a shelter just outside the slotties!! We drove over to Berwick as it was too far to walk and as we walked over the bridge I asked Chris what the fat thing in the river was and it was a seal!! My eyesight is still rubbish.  Took lots of photos but they aren't very good. We walked around the ramparts then back to the car. The seal was still there and we waited ages to see if it would swim off but it didn't. 
Another lovely day, cool but dry!
