Subject Team Meeting

10.00 to 16.30 today, but thankfully not at the city centre but at the 'old' haunt, although the organizers did opt for the other building because we really needed to be quiet and out of reach.  Phones weren't allowed either except during the break.  For lunch, we just went to nearby Erasmus Uni because they have a good, cheap restaurant.

What did we discuss?  What we really want for International Business Communications.  What do we want to show?  How do we wish to be seen?  What subject profile would convince management, and students, to take us seriously instead of forcing us to contort our goals to please everyone else's programme but not our own?  There was some progress today but there will be a follow-up meeting in a few weeks' time.

This was shot during lunch break, while I was waiting for my order.  We sat outside.  It wasn't sunny but it was warm and dry, and that was enough.  Now that the schoolyear is close to ending, I am suddenly feeling very tired, and the work isn't over yet.  A little more patience.
