Ivy League

The Ivy has been getting out of control for years now and it was time to tackle it.
I put off cleaning my bike until tomorrow and Marlane and I started hacking at the ivy, some of which was an inch or more thick. We had to be careful not to cut the Clematis so at times Marlane would hold up the overhanging foliage so I could get at the Ivy beneath and then pull it out.
It's made quite a difference although people who don't regularly go into our garden probably wouldn't notice! Point is that it makes it better for us as we like to sit there in the double garden seat.
