Small Eggar Moth Caterpillar and Large Skipper

A really busy day ; we gardened this morning and then went on the Bird Walk at Sutton Poyntz near Weymouth with its very pretty duck pond . We saw more insects and butterflies than birds as you can see from my collage . I was hoping to see a bee orchid but we weren’t lucky . There were lots of ducklings on the pond and baby Moor hens .
Then we picked Stanley up from his Mum’s as he has finished his finals at university and is now looking to the future. He’s staying with us for a few days before going back to Southampton.
