Nanchang's Annual Chrysanthemum Show

This year's show is celebrating 'Shi Ba Da' (18 Big) or the Chinese Communist party's 18th national congress which begins on 8 November in Beijing.

This is China's once a decade change of leadership where the nation's top leaders are replaced by the next generation and this time the process has proven to be less than smooth.

The Bo Xi Lai scandal, the Wen Jia Bao expose in the New York Times and numerous other hiccups mean that what is usually a foregone conclusion has become a rather tense process with the result unlikely to be known until the very last minute
