Sacred to Aborigines, this massive and majestic rock dominates the surrounding countryside. It’s a compelling sight.
We were taken for a 3km walk with an Aboriginal woman and interpreter. It was fascinating listening to her musical language and to have the symbols that are used interpreted.
On a 3 day camping trip, this was to be my first night sleeping in a swag. Never too old to learn! So far so good. An excellent tour guide, a grunty 4WD truck and interesting travel companions.
