oops can't see my description so try #2 ...  its a rescue bee, a very cold day here and he was resting on a city-bus-stop window sill.  I keep a sugar sachet in my pack for just such an occassion, a finger-wipe of syrup got him up and going up the backlit window - my ringlight filled it even better than I hoped.  After ten minutes he upped and flew away, both of us a little happier..

At first his segment gap was very wide like this, but he straightened up after a while - maybe it takes energy to hold firm?
