Orkney - the Sun returns

As part of the escape plan I pause before crossing my boundary.  Already the heat haze is building up before the Hoy Hills.  CMC is away again today in Hoy.  This left me to finish the biography of Thomas Telford which I must admit I found a turgid read.

Under the category of ‘bizarre but true’ I just gave a lady three different whiskies to try.  For the record they are an anCnoc, a Glendronach and a Mortlach.  I await word from her legal team.

It has been a scintillatingly sunny day today.
