Dresden
Chrissel and I took the early train to Dresden this morning and spent the whole day exploring the city. First we went to the DDR Museum so I could get a feel as to how life was like in East Germany before the wall came down. It was really interesting and informative. Later on we walked past the Golden Rider and headed to the Semperoper, where Chrissel had a surprise....a guided tour through the opera house. That was fantastic, the architecture inside was something else. My watch says we walked 13km today. Now I'm back at Chrissel's home, thoroughly exhausted but very happy.
