Moving home?

On a very dull morning I stood watching the Jackdaws flying in and out of their nest. They did not take anything in, but came out with bits in their beaks - I can only think they were relocating to another abode. 

I have just had a call from a friend who says that she could only see six cygnets instead of nine on the Longwater today. I do hope she is mistaken. I will check in the morning.
