Caerlavarock Castle

We broke the journey south near Dumfries, with a lovely couple of nights in a village inn.  We spent the day touring some local sights - starting with the wonderful Caerlavarock Castle.  We then moved on to Sweetheart Abbey, but the covering of scaffolding for some (probably highly needed) conservation work rather spoiled the images and finished the day at Sandyhills Beach.
